Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a variety of surveys, including construction, geomatics, engineering, mining, and environmental surveys. This role involves working on diverse projects, utilizing advanced surveying equipment and technology to collect and analyze data, and ensuring the accuracy and precision of all survey results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct topographical surveys to create detailed maps and models of land surfaces.
  • Perform quantity tracking and construction progress monitoring for various projects.
  • Utilize advanced drone technology for photogrammetry surveys and terrain modeling.
  • Conduct surveys for mining projects, including site mapping and resource estimation.
  • Perform environmental surveys to assess and monitor environmental impacts and conditions.
  • Operate and maintain surveying equipment, including total stations, GNSS receivers, and other relevant tools.
  • Collect and analyze survey data, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Prepare detailed reports, maps, and documentation of survey findings.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure survey requirements are met.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards during fieldwork.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior surveyors and field assistants.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in construction, geomatics, engineering, mining, or environmental surveying.
  • Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software, including total stations, GNSS receivers, and CAD/GIS software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various project sites.
